Who Should Apply?   

The Program typically accepts juniors and seniors who are full-time students earning credit toward their degree from a Council member college or university. Students who apply to LASP should be energetic, enthusiastic and ready to fully engage the program. Those with special dietary needs or those who would have a difficult time doing without the "comforts of home" should think hard before applying. The program may, however, accepts any exceptional student it believes can meet the rigorous demands. In order to maximize the Program's effectiveness, applicants are required to have the equivalent of one year of college-level Spanish, and a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.75 on a 4.00 scale.
